I've used YouTube for many years. I have a pretty good following there.

I am, however, frustrated by the 10-minute time limit for my YouTube videos.

I've started making longer videos, and posting them on Vimeo.

I will likely pay for Vimeo Pro, in order to get their extra "features."

Actually, the time limit is now 15 minutes.

Neither one is "better", I like Vimeo because it offers FANTASTIC quality, and the option of downloading content in full resolution. But YouTube is also great just because of its very large user base. I personally use both websites but for different things. Neither one is "better" in my opinion.

Well, Youtube is where the people are, but Videmo has good service and higher quality videos.

YouTube has 1080p videos... How much higher quality do you want? Can your hardware even show better than 1920x1080?

I like YouTube better because of it's vastly large user base.

I like both, but if you're uploading videos and are concerned about speed, I'd say go Vimeo. Better content delivery network that isn't so cluttered like that of YouTube, considering they seem to always have bandwidth issues.

I like Youtube, but Vimeo has a nice UI. So I would have to say both.

YouTube, as it has a bigger audience. Plus, I make some extra cash through YouTube.

Vimeo.com is more professional but YouTube has a much bigger audience and searching ability. I like Vimeo's player better.
