Do you think the oil spill is much worse than the average american believes it to be?

Do you think the oil spill is much worse than the average American believes it to be? There are now scientist that believe that the oil spill could cause a tsunami and possibly end fishing in Europe for a 100 years. My question is do you think the average american cares at all, cares a little bit, or is very concerned?
