It's easy to get Facebook spammed. Friends who play too much Farmville, Pages that post too much, and malicious applications. What measures do you go to to stop Facebook spam?

Well you can get this great browser addon that filters everything you could want out of your news feed: http://www.fbpurity.com and as for wall posts from applications, just block the applications that are spamming you. Or if you don't use any applications turn off platform applications in your privacy settings.

For me I use a 100% fix, I don't use facebook :)

But if you do and you have "friends" who are known to spam then remove them as a friend. If someone is spamming you then they are not a real friend. Real friends don't spam you.

Other than that it is really hard to filter stuff like pages that have too many posts or friends spamming you as the spam is the legit content, just too much of it and blocking it will mean blocking both the spam and the content you want from them.

Exactly, I also hate friends who use loads of stupid applications and let it spam everyone. They don't deserve to be on the internet. :P
