I'm looking for a nice monitor to go with my 13 inch macbook pro. Nothing too pricy. I'm looking for something that will go perfectly with my macbook pro, something between 20 and 24 inches. When I say best I mean something with a high resolution screen, HD, nice looking and reasonable ms.

Honestly i have not noticed a huge difference in monitors for computers, they all seem to perform as far as durability and life time about the same.
but dont go too cheep, also you typicly dont have to spend a lot

The Sony FW900. Simply the best monitor I have ever used or seen. The problem is, they're hard to find. CraigsList or similar is a great way to find one of these babies.
If you're looking at LCD's, ASUS makes decent, cheap 1080p displays, such as the Newegg-award-winning VH226H.
If you want to stay on the Apple boat, there is Apple's Cinema display line which are good quality (though expensive).
