If I unjailbreak my 2G iPod Touch running iOS4, will I still be able to use multitasking and wallpapers?

I recently jailbroke me iPod so I could have multitasking and wallpapers, which are features that are not available on the 2G models. In the past I have jailbroken and unjailbroken, and I think the whole Cydia thing is a big hassle, so I want to unjailbreak it. But I don't want to if I cant have multitasking and wallpapers. If I unjailbreak, will I be able to keep these features?

9	No, you will lose those features until you decide to Jailbreak again. You should keep it Jailbroken anyway for the cool features you can have on it. answered Jun 28 '10 at 11:14 AppleHack23 (suspended)

Yes you can, using Redsn0w, you just tick the boxes for multitasking and wallpapers and untick the box for Cydia, after its done, you now have multitasking and wallpapers without cydia :) enjoy!

"technically" yes but why dont you just hide the cydia icon? I'm only asking because that would be the easier way to do this.
