I recently jailbroke me iPod so I could have multitasking and wallpapers, which are features that are not available on the 2G models. In the past I have jailbroken and unjailbroken, and I think the whole Cydia thing is a big hassle, so I want to unjailbreak it. But I don't want to if I cant have multitasking and wallpapers. If I unjailbreak, will I be able to keep these features?

No, you will lose those features until you decide to Jailbreak again. You should keep it Jailbroken anyway for the cool features you can have on it.

Nope. Both of those features were disabled on the official firmware for your iPod touch. If you restore with the official firmware, you will lose them.

You could simply hide the Cydia icon if it really bothers you that much as you need to be jailbroken to have the features you want.

Yes you can, using Redsn0w, you just tick the boxes for multitasking and wallpapers and untick the box for Cydia, after its done, you now have multitasking and wallpapers without cydia :) enjoy!

But technically it's still jailbroken isn't it?

"technically" yes but why dont you just hide the cydia icon? I'm only asking because that would be the easier way to do this.
