AGP or PCIe? PCIe have to share bandwidth with the PCI bus. AGP has it's own bandwidth and doesn't share it with any other bus. PCIe is more popular but AGP is still used. I see the advantages of AGP but PCIe is MUCH more common so I don't know witch is my favorite and I have never used AGP before. |

PCI-E of course. You can buy video cards for AGP but PCI-E is much more common. PCI-E gives a better performance than AGP, you can't install 2 AGP cards, but you can do AGP+PCI-E or PCI-E+PCI-E, the first option is not that good (you can use SLI if you got 2 PCI-E cards). Also the data rate of PCI-E is higher because it has more lanes. |

Just as an FYI I messed up PCI uses the PCI bus instead of PCIe. The thing I read was comparing PCI to AGP not PCIe. But I am researching the differences between PCIe and AGP.
