Google Me, will it work?

I think Google Me will be a tremendous failure like Buzz and Wave, leaving facebook with the illusion of success. Facebook will begin to lax on service to try and gain more and more profit, then a newcomer with a stupid name like "Friendify" will step in with better privacy options, better support and no stupid annoying apps on their service leaving facebook in a downward spiral. Facebook will then give in and become more focused on it's position as a social platform. Just my prediction, what's yours?

3	Google Me? Why can't they come up with their own stuff! MobileMe = Google Me, iPhone multitouch = Android multitouch, then theres the iPad, and Google puts Android on some type of tablet because Apple put iOS on a tablet. answered Jun 29 '10 at 13:09 AppleHack23 (suspended)

Eventually Facebook will go down, when that will happen is unknown.

Friendster was big and popular, then MySpace killed it. Facebook killed MySpace. Judging from history, something will eventually come along and kill Facebook.

Facebook was launched in 2004, it took it around 3 years to become viral. Google Me is run by google of course. Who doesn't use google?. Everyone will know about it. I think it will grow faster. To me this is an unfair advantage and could lead to facebook's downfall. I think this will kill all sorts of networking sites.
