Razor.. seriously? All of that info, and all he asked for was a referral code? Wow. I would think that would be the answer to "Hey, does anyone know how much Hulu Plus is and what kind of content we can expect from it?"
Need to cut back on the coffee buddy... seriously.
Alex.. I'm looking for a referral code as well and when I find one, I'll send it to you. Please reciprocate if you happen to find one. Thanks! :-)

the service is $10 a month, you still get ads, content is not available as soon as it is on regular TV (1 day wait)
you don't get access to the full series so for example say a show has 8 seasons
you cant start from season 1 episode 1 and catch up on the entire series (only a select few have all seasons available)
other limitations listed by pc magazine: Only lets you view the latest five episodes of current on-air programs. Can't mute ads. No CBS or ABC content.
as for special codes to get into hulu plus, there doesn't seem to be any, I searched google and if there are codes, no one seems to be giving them.
Hulu is an ad supported site, hulu plus is what the free version of hulu should have been.
