What's your favorite first person shooter? and tell me Why. I want to see your opinion. I like Call of Duty, Socom and Halo can decide, the maps and experience are amazing and the online gameplay is awesome and the maps too, mind blowing. I also like FEAR but i get killed too easily xD

It's a tie between the original Doom and Quake 1. But, I also really enjoyed Wolfenstein 3D. I am really nostalgic, sorry. Of the new generation though, I would have to say that I really liked Bioshock.

I played Doom, Quake and Wolfenstein back in the day. But for me personally. The game that made me love first person shooters was Goldeneye 64. I just remember getting home from school and playing it, till it was time to go to sleep.

I don't know how the Wii version will work. But the classic is definitely that; a classic.

It really takes more then a good graphics engine to create a game, it also needs love and compassion, witch is very rate those days!

At the moment I'm not playing a first-person shooter. I'm playing Lead and gold which is a thrid-person online shooter. My most played FPS has to be Call of duty 4. Although, it's not my favorite. If I played it again today I'll like Modern warfare 2 more, but that's just me

I LOVE TEAM FORTRESS 2! It's on sale on Steam right now for $10. I highly recommend the demoman and soldier classes.

After careful consideration, my fav FPS is... Doom 1.

It is the one FPS I keep coming back to, which as time goes on I find myself more and more fond of.

The mood, atmosphere, simplistic weapons, the music etc the whole package/balance is just timeless across the 3 episodes of Doom 1.

Don't get me wrong, I have a high respect for other FPS and it was a tough call - but for the answer to this question...

Doom 1!!!!!
