Does the EVO beat the iPhone 3GS or even the upcoming 4.0 OS? |

Wont know until the new iPhone w/ OS 4 is out, right? I mean, RIGHT? From what we know now, the EVO has a larger/better screen but much less battery life, and an app store that doesn't compare. |

The EVO 4G has better specs than the iPhone 3GS, but the iPhone 4G is rumored to be released and it may end up being better than the EVO 4G. |

I have both the new HTC Evo 4G and the iPhone 3GS running the beta 4.0 software, so I know basically how the new 4th Gen. iPhone will compare from a software standpoint. After using the Evo for 24 hours, I'm still favoring the iPhone. It's much easier to navigate and text input is superior. I like the Evo's bigger screen and the dedicated back button, but I'm leaning toward Apple. I'll make my final judgement when the new iPhone is released. |

Still dont quite understand why people are always praising the "iphone OS" yeah it was great at inception but since then its really lagged. Took years to get; Multi tasking,Media messing, even CUSTOMIZING your own background screen. Not to mention the restrictions of the app store. And Jailbroken hacked phones dont count. I'm a fan of what apple does but i dont see how the statement "better OS" holds any water nowadays |
