For me, I like using

  • Adblock plus
  • Stylish (allows you to inject your own css into any web page )
  • Gmail notifier
  • Imagebot (best image hosting extension especially with it's templates and drag and drop support)
  • Noscript
  • tab scroller (love being able to simply hold the right mouse button down then move the mouse wheel in order switch through tabs)
  • Easy youtube video downloader
  • Down them all

AdBlock Plus has to be my favorites. Even though it takes revenue out of the website; some website(s) has too many ads on there site.

Back when I did use Firefox I didn't install any addons (besides AdBlock plus) because they just bloat the software. Now I use Chrome and I'm still addon free.

currently checking out ScreenGrab seems pretty good (had pearl crescent page saver basic, before but it was very limited in that you can either save the visible part of the page or the entire page)

I've tried quite a few extensions over the years, but the 4 that I consistently use are: AdBlock Plus, Down-them-All, Tab-Mix Plus, and Xmarks
