quad core CPU. 2.4GHz and above

minimum of 3GB ram, 4-6 would be best but would need a 64 bit operating system to allocate that much memory.

a high end graphics card like a GTX 470 and above (or one of the older gameing cards) or a ATI 58** series card.

a good quality power supply that has atleast 600w.

thats the basics.

id reccomend spending as much as you can on video card and cpu. RAM is important but not AS important as these other two components. Essentially it depends what your budget is. if your budget is £600 then you shouldnt buy a £400 graphics card and a lousy CPU MOBO and RAM combo. id say go for at least an entry level i7 CPU with 4GB DDR3 and a decent MOBO (dont go nuts on the mobo unless your looking to do lots of OverCLocking) and with whats left get the most expensive GFX card you can afford. generally you get what you pay for!

Hope this helps :-)
