Hello, I'm getting around 1Mbps on my iPad, does anyone know if it's possible to speed this up? Also, I've used around 400 mb of my 2gb data plan in less than 24 hours of me owning it. Any suggestions?

AT&T 3G / High Speed Packet Access (HSPA) : 700 - 1700kbps Down; 500 - 1200kbps Up ... Further speed increases are available with HSPA+, which provides speeds of up to 42 Mbit/s downlink and 84 Mbit/s with Release 9 of the 3GPP standards.

Advice: Start using Wi-Fi and/or Tether off the iPhone to avoid going over your 2GB CAP ... If you exceed 2 GB, you'll get an additional 1 GB of data for only $10. Each time an additional 1 GB is used up during a cycle, you will automatically receive another 1 GB at the same low price.

Now you see why I was advising jhagwire to keep the HTC EVO 4G with UNLIMITED DATA plan! 4G speeds are a lot faster, too!! BIG MONEY SAVINGS!!!

Peace!

Yeah but you get hardly any service on 4G, its a brand new network feature. And my phone isn't Jailbroken so that's a no-go.

Danny "Hacker" R.,

The HTC EVO 4G does 3G!

If you're iPhone plan has *Unlimited Data*, then I advise you jailbreak it. You can use MyWi 4.0, tether off your iPhone, and save at least $25/month. That's $300/year!!!

I'm not stupid, I know the EVO supports their 4G, 3G, 2G, and 1G networks. AT&T's 3G Internet is a lot faster than Sprint's. I can't jailbreak my iPhone right now because it's on iOS 4, plus the fact that I don't want to pay 20 bucks for MyWi. iOS 4 does everything I need. And stop calling me by my personal name, thank you.
