How hot do modern amd processors run?

I've heard that amd processors in the past have had some big overheating and lifespan issues. Now I hear that that is no longer the case and some even run cooler than intel. Is this the case? What is your experience?

0	The last time I've used an AMD processor (a couple of months ago), it ran pretty cool in the laptop. The laptop didn't over heat at all. I think that it was a pretty nice computer for how much it was worth. answered Jul 03 '10 at 23:44 catchatyou 20.7k●89●166●383
