I was at the 5th Avenue Apple Store and I saw the lines. There was a gigantic line for the Genuis Bar, and that line was dwarfed by the checkout. The checkout line zigzaged and and encircled the store, easily several hours long, most people holding iPads. It got me thinking, what's the longest line you've ever waited in, beginning to end? And was it worth the wait? (For anything.) |

I've never been in lines that long. The only time I am in a really long line is when I am at an amusement park, wanting to go into some awesome ride. :) |
The longest line I have been in, ermm... it was either at the airport or Primark. |
The longest I waited was either to a movie (and if you are wondering, Pokemon the first movie [first showing] in the japan district in San Francisco, which can be like the line for the apple store in San Francisco or the electronics store in the San Francisco area on black Friday (Tip: on black Friday, go to a less urban area with stores) |
Crush's Coaster at Walt Disney Studios in Paris. I waited 3 hours for 2 minutes but it was worth the wait. |
I waited 2 hours in line at Best Buy for the release of the iPad 2. I know it's really nothing, but still was a long time for me! It was worth the wait I might add. |
I don't wait in lines. I don't really care about getting something right when it comes out. I can usually wait a month or two. |
Probably the line at Six Flags in New Jersey, waiting in line for Kingda Ka. |

For me the longest line was the line to get Tourist cards, since you can't get in to D.R. without the cards. |
