I really enjoy playing both my Wii and my PS3 for completely different reasons. But for PS3 and Xbox 360 owners who want to play games using motion controls, the process of gathering all of the required components and accessories in order to play motion-controlled games is just far too much, in my opinion. Plus, what will become of the Wii? Do you think it will grow in popularity due to hefty motion-controller costs of the Xbox 360 and PS3, or do you think that it is now dwarfed in comparison to the other two, as the motion based appeal of the Wii has now, in some people's minds, been taken away by recent competitors.

What are your thoughts on these issues?

If I am right it is selling at $150. I dont think its that bad as far as the system goes but the games need to get better before I buy it. Thats just me personally.

I prefer Kinect in terms of concept, as it requires less separate pieces of hardware in order to be used with multiple players, but I think $150 is just far too much to ask for a console peripheral, and that to justify this high price point, debug features should be included, or games should be bundled with the purchase, as either vouchers or discs.

I think it's silly of people to complain about these things.. Kinext, yes, PS Move, no.

Kinect is all part of MS'es plan to get ahead of Sony with their "new" and "shiny" motion control system. I know the hardcore gamers that play the CoD series, Halo, Gear of War, etc. wont be buying it. Did you know that MS knew well that the the Xbox had RROD and released a year early just to get ahead of Sony in sales. They knew your Xbox was gonna break, they are just in it for the money, to be the best. Kinect is just a glossy thing MS is putting out to beat Sony. Though on the other hand, I think PlayStation Move will fail since it just looks like a Wii controller for PS3, but thats just my opinion.

In my opinion, the PS Move will not fail simply because it is so familiar to Wii users and they will be able to easily pick up a PS Move controller and start playing games. The Kinect might fail because of its price tag. $150 + the price of the console is simply too much to charge for something that will most likely be used for kiddie sports games. Until we see how the Kinect could be implemented to play FPS games and such, the Kinect just isn't worth it for most people.

Baoster, I think that the Move may be a commercial flop as far as multiplayer gaming is concerned as the price for four controllers (Move controllers) and a Playstation Eye may be almost equal to the cost of the Wii and four Wiimotes.

Simple answer . . . just buy the one for the console you have and stop worrying who has what. Each one's going to have it's pro's and con's, same as everything. I'll be going for the Kinect, as long as there is decent games for it and not corny Wii-like animation games.

i think they are okay prices, but im never going to buy them. I bought the xbox 360 to sit down and play with, not to jump about like a looney, i would have bought the wii if i had wanted to be moving around everywhere.
