YouTube, MacRumors, Lockergnome, CNN, Facebook, and Twitter.

Basically, stuff I use every day I put in the bookmarks toolbar so I have easy access to them, and stuff I seldom use I put in the bookmarks menu. I also sync them via Xmarks.

Bookmarks

I don't use my bookmarks bar a lot. I know the websites that I visit often, and I'd rather type them out than use the mouse to click it. I use Safari, and I use the "Bookmarks Bar" item, because I'd rather get the most web space in my browser. If I do run into a site that I want to keep for future reference, I will put it in my bookmarks bar, but other than that it's not used (I hide it).

I got: Gmail, Twitter, lockergnome.net, Chris's YT channel, Muziic.com, a translater for English-Estonian and vice versa and a few more sites. Not too much.

I did not use the bar for the longest time, now I find it very useful having most visited sites on the front page.
