When I Say device it means Laptop iPod iPhone iPad and so on. I have dropped my iPod once and when you press it the black bit goes down a bit. |

I remember the Original iPhone was Rugged & Reliable -vs- the fragile models that followed, and I dropped it within 24 hours of setting it up. It dropped about 3.5 feet and landed on the cement floor of the garage. A Q-Tip sized dent on one of the corners was the only souvenir =0p... Here's some pictures of an iPhone (not mine) after getting run over by a Semi Truck ... and SURVIVED!!!

Yes, I've dropped my iPhone 3Gs numerous of times and dropped my iPhone 4 a few times but luckily I've always had a case on it. I've also dropped my old White MacBook down the stairs because I forgot my rolling laptop bag unzipped. |

I was carrying my iPod Nano(Got it as a B-Day gift(I don't like Apple)But i take care of it.), and it flew out of my hands and landed on the tile floor in my house. There are two dents in the metal shell but other than that its fine. Now i keep it in a case. |

I bought a case with mine, making sure to get one that wrapped around the front glass a little to help protect it from shattering the front. All cases protect the back--the unimportant part. Some Mophie cases do not protect the front of the phone, they just do the sides and back, plus the battery. I've dropped my iPhone 3GS maybe three times since I've owned it, but it still looks new because I put on good silicon cases that give me a small lip all the way around the front of the phone--enough to stop the face from hitting the ground--or it landed on it's back or side. A side hit can still be damaging if it has a lot of force. The older models are almost all plastic right up until the very rim. I did knock off my Apple MacBook Pro once while it was in a sheath to protect it and it's got a itty-bitty dent that you can only really feel on one of the sharp edges Apple loves to have on their laptops |

I have dropped my iPod but it had a case. At least I think it did. |

So far I have never dropped my MP3 player iPhone or any other device, I do hope to keep it that way. |

I dropped my iPad once. I dropped it five feet, but thankfully it was on carptet so it didn't get hurt at all/ |

When i got my first PowerBook back in 2004, I had just set it up on my desk. Being new to owning a laptop etc I was not aware of the potential dangers such as charging cables, and this was before Apple implemented MagSafe - you can put 2 and 2 together. It was not more then 4 hours of unpacking my proud, brand new PowerBook that I stood up from the desk, charging cable tangled around leg, I whipped the PowerBook off the desk, face down onto the hard floor. I froze in my track, instantly getting dizzy and nauseous at what i had just done/witnessed. I worked up the courage and walked over to inspect what horribleness i had just inflected on my new baby. .... Not a scratch, dint or noticeable mark/defect..! That PowerBook went on to serve me for 4 1/2 great years - and is still going strong, now under the care and supervision of my mother. haha. Now i own a MacBook Pro... it too has fallen to the ground, thanks to my insane Cat. Happy to report consistent results, it too is working fine with no noticeable faults/problems. :D |

I dropped my iPod Touch 2g twice screen side down, but my hard incase case saved it. |

Yeah, I dropped my iPod Nano millions of times!
