Hello, I need to remove a scratch about a centimeter long that's in my oleophobic coating on my iPad. I just got this iPad last week, and my fricken dog jumped up onto it. Is there any products that will do this? Thank you. |

Don't blame your dog. Dogs are curious about iPhones & iPads, too. I read an article that might help > Possible solutions for iphone scratches I highly recommend to protect ALL your gear with Ghost Armor.
Did any of those remove the scratch? No, I can't get them. I need something I can buy in a store, my dad cancelled his credit card... I just fixed my friend's iPad scratches with car polish/wax, then Ghost Armor. No more scratches! ***http://www.dvdrepairtips.com/repair-scratched-dvds2.html*** I tried the car wax, and it didn't work. The scratch is still there. Am I doing something wrong? I just put a drop on and buffed it with a microfiber and it looks exactly the same, except now the screen is a little slippier. Not sure. All I know is my friend shoved her naked iPad in her bag, and the screen got F@@#$RD/Scratched up by the keys-n-stuff. She cried all the way to my place. First we tried some CD/DVD repair, eyeglass repair, and brasso. It was better, but we could still feel the scratches. Went to the auto parts place, and we tested a small part of the screen ... NO MORE SCRATCHES! We did the rest of the screen, then Ghost Armor. It's all protected to DOD specs.
