I have an aluminum iMac from 2008. It's not the white iMac it's the aluminum iMac with an intel processor. Whenever I watch a YouTube video the fans kick in really loud. It started happening about a month ago. Here are the specs: 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo 3 GB 800 MHz DDR2 SDRAM

How do I fix this problem?

You can't really. Flash sucks. Go to http://www.youtube.com/html5, and join the beta, your fans should stop making loud noises while watching YouTube videos.

It has something to do with flash not working all that good on Mac Os X. When I watch a Youtube movie, it's like my MacBook Pro takes off.

I guess it just shows both Steve Jobs and Mac's really don't like Flash!

Well most of the videos I watch have advertisements and YouTube HTML5 beta doesn't support videos with ads.

I always thought it didn't support HD videos...good assumption. Or maybe it's because only ad videos are in HD...
