I have been round on lockergnome.net for about 1 - 2 months now and I just can't figure out what community wiki means.

Anyone got any answers?

Thanks,

Danish

The feature is meant to function as Wikipedia. Anyone who thinks that he/she could provide some more useful information that others might come in handy with can edit it.

It allows Questions and answers to be edited if necessary.

People are free to edit the answer or question to make it better just like Wikipedia.

Some answers are not community wiki and you are aloud to edit if you have a certain amount of karma. Is this true?

Here's a list I took from the faq of what you can do with carma points:

  • add comments -> 0
  • delete comments -> 2000
  • close own questions -> 600
  • reopen own questions -> 120
  • retag questions -> 150
  • edit any answer -> 400
  • open any closed question -> 2000
  • delete any comment -> 2000

community wiki allows anyone registered to edit. non-wiki Question or Answers can edit based on the amount of points they have. See list for more information.
