I have some old computers that have lots of hardware in them. I'm looking for the best place to sell the hardware at. I'll be selling each piece individually. So where do you think the best place to sell the hardware is? |

Craigslist or eBay for sure. I've sold lots on there. |

The best place to sell locally = CraigsList The best place to sell any other way: eBay Another option is the Amazon Marketplace but I don't have any direct experience as a seller through it. If you just want to unload some old gear, there's a Related thread here: http://lockergnome.net/questions/6397/what-do-you-do-with-your-old-outdated-geek-gear |

Probably the best place, locally, is any free-paper- the sort most communities have of low-priced stuff for sale cheap. I stress "cheap" for your opticals, older & smaller HDD's, cables, etc...because these are so inexpensive now that $5-10 for a CD- burner is asking max. Also, don't discount your local "pinboards" at the supermarkets, etc... To sell CPU's/HSF or motherboards & RAM- put links online if you list there, otherwise, describe with a flourish. Cases are a "dime a dozen" & subjective. RE: Craigs or ebay- list "local pickup only" if you don't want the hassle of shipping. Good luck! T |
As always ebay. Try it?
