I know there are the lists of the "most popular" free apps in the app store. But that doesn't necessarily mean they are the best. I want your view on what is the best free app in the App Store.

There's a number of Best Free Apps, but you need to specify Best at X?!

I nominate Pandora as Best Free Customized Music Listening App.

Hmm, well best for each category really. Thanks for the nomination, but unfortunately I'm living in Ireland and that app isn't currently available here, so I can't back you up on that. :(

The Last FM app provides a similar service to the Pandora app ( likewise, I can't test the Pandora app, as I live in the UK ), although the Last FM app is available in the UK. The app "douban.fm" is another free personalised Internet radio app, yet it takes a long time to adjust to your personal taste in music as it initially plays music completely at random, and is fine-tuned to what you like or dislike over time.

One of my favourite free apps is TeamViewer, it's an app designed to control you Mac, PC from any remote location as long as you are connected to a WiFi network. It is available on the iPhone and IPad. There is a free and an full version but the full version costs like 1000 billion dollars
