How does Seesmic compare to other Twitter Apps for iPhone or Apple Desktop? I currently use Twitteriffic on my iPhone and have tried Seesmic desktop for my MacBook Pro, but have found it slows down my computer. |

The desktop application needs improvement, but their iPhone app is descent and their web app is actually pretty good. I do also like the ping.fm integration into the service |

I use the official Twitter app on my iPod, Tweetie for Mac on my Mac, and Blu 2.0 Beta on my PC. Blu is getting kinda clunky now, but it has almost all the major features available. I really really LOVE Tweetie on my Mac because I can just hit a key combo that I have etched into my brain (Control+Option+Command+Enter) to pop open a small window to compose my Tweet, then hit Command+Enter to send it on its way, without ever having to use the mouse. It works well with Growl, supports multiple accounts, and is very sleek. If only it supported the official RT method. sigh |

I find it also Slows down my computer..I like using TweetDeck..TweetDeck works GREAT! |

The desktop application is pretty bad in my opinion. But the iPhone app is pretty cool. You can acess Ping.fm with it. Which is always handy as hell. But overall, Tweetdeck is superior. |

I use the standard Twitter app on my Blackberry.. UberTweet started to time out on API too frequently. On my desktops (both linux and windows) I use TweetDeck. |

The desktop version isn't good at all compared to Tweetdeck. Tweetdeck lets you use accounts from many different services. It also has pop-ups of peoples statuses. I recommend using Tweetdeck. I have used Seesmic, and its what I used before Tweetdeck. |
