I just read an article according to which Apple Inc. has been censoring threads critisizing the problems of the new iPhone on its forums. Do you think what Apple is doing is OK?

Censorship is never a good thing. I think that spam and things like that isnt' okay and should be removed but I don't think that people who aren't happy about something or disagree with Apple should be censored.

It's their website and they can do whatever they want on it. Not trying to be a fanboy or anything, but any website can do what they want since it is their website.

I'm not sure how true this is, I've been on Apple's boards for a long time and they've never censored this kind of thing, they haven't even censor people talking about jailbreaking or when people were asking about getting the iPhone SDK working on PPC Macs. I've seen far worse things than iPhone 4 complaints and woes.

Now if it's an advertisement of some kind, or simply to spread links, they do knock those down. It's a discussion board for support / help, that's its point.
