My Philips DVR is only SD. My computer sucks at screen capture, and I don't know how to hook it up to a PS3 for screen capture. My VCR is S-VHS. My HD camcorder doesn't have an HDMI input, and the TV video output on the camcorder is busted so I have to use firewire to the computer. |

The PS3 has an AV Multi Out port. There should be a plug that you can route to your VCR, and route from that into the DVR. If your VCR supports HDMI (way unlikely), use that instead. Other than that, you're looking at buying hardware. One good solution might be the Hauppauge HD PVR. I use the multi-out S-Video to my DVR, but it's not HD. The Hauppauge HD PVR would be your best buy records great HD Gameplay. Seen it in action. |

The best thing I have seen is the Blackmagic Intensity products, they have only been released recently so I haven't tried them out; one disadvantage they have is the requirement for USB 3.0 $199 for the internal, or external device. http://blackmagic-design.com/products/intensity/ |

Try the Pinnacle video transfer. It mostly records anything in High Def. It can record From VCR's, to the Playstation3. All you need is a splitter for the yellow(Video),Red and White(Audio) cables. Hoped this helped! Nick Hanson, Flash10 in the chat room. |
