What could defeat the iPad?

The next generation iPad, haha. Lets face it people when it comes to mobile devices Apple is years ahead of any other company. They simply know what works, All the iPad needs is; a camera!

NVIDIA and Dell have has some rumors of tablets that are coming out on Android. So really any quality Android tablet will be in competition from apple.

Anything could. It's a matter of market penetration.

• Google has some really good stuff out and about now and planned.
• Apple's main saving grace, I believe, is that Microsoft absolutely sucks at Mobile. And yet I remain a Microsoft fan.

I figure that a key part of the iPad's success relies on the branding that is has. Functionality wise, many of the upcoming Android tablets can beat it there once they receive a hardware boost, which is probably coming within the next few years, as the OS becomes increasingly stable.

I currently use an Archos 5IT, running Android 1.6, and it handles most things that I would've used an iPad for.

Possible the Android tablet or the HP Hurricane tablet when they come out,but they will all use a mobile OS, like the Ipad
