What is the DISCLOSURE Act? Can't seem to find anything about it.

If you are a blogger or writer and you are paid to do a post, you have to disclose it. If you are sent something to review, you have to disclose it - even if you are going to send the item back. This is done to make sure that no one is being duped. There were many cases in the past of people being paid to talk positively about an item, gadget or service. People would go out and pay money for whatever it was, only to find later that the reviewer thought it was complete crap to begin with.

Chris and I put together an excellent article about this not long ago. Even though you likely won't need to use the service that the blog post talks about, the explanations about the Disclosure Act that it gives are really good.
