So Apple finished the press conference. They ended up saying that bumpers are the solution. So they are giving free bumpers to all the iPhone 4 users. They are also fixing the algorithm in the new firmware. So what do you think? Are you happy with their response?

No, they need to recall them.

If its a hardware issue covering it up with a bumper may be cheaper, but the bottom line is they have a bad product out there with great potential.

They need to be recalled and redesigned, I don't care how much money it costs them.

I love Apple and I love my Droid also.

I'm satisfied but I'm still disappointed. I'll still continue loving my iPhone 4 regardless.

I think they decided to only to put the free case offer till September 30th so they can get as many people to buy the iPhone 4 now as people will say "yay, I'm buying an iPhone because I want a free case" and that will mean that they can refresh the design after Sept. 30th as they would have sold thier old stock of iPhones so they sell the new ones for the holiday season or have a price cut for the iPhone 4.

I feel Apple chose the least expensive of it's options, and Half @$$!!!

Was there a sincere apology? What if iPhone 4 owners don't like the free bumper offer? What about the people who already purchased cases? What about the people who spent money to fix it on their own?

For now, yes. In a few months, no. They need to find a permanent solution.

"Hello Mr. Jobs... I noticed some bugs with the reception... Can you fix these bugs?" "Hello Mr. Whatever... Please hold it differently!"

It was something like this... Not a very good answer from Mr. Jobs...
