Usually I use iGoogle, just because it's there, don't really care so much about elaborate fancy pages. I have also used Protopage and Netvibes in the past.

When I open a browser window, I tend to have a specific reason or site I want to visit. It's not always the same one every time. If I had a home screen / page set, the browser's focus normally leaves the address field at the top and moves into the loaded webpage. This takes time away, making me have to always reselect the address field. So, I always set a blank page as default. If I need google, it's a simple tab to the search box, so I don't need that as a home page.
