The first one that I can remember was Windows 98, but it wasn't my computer.

First ever? Amiga OS 1.0 on a Commodore Amiga 1000 (Circa 1985)

I still have that Amiga 1000, and it's still in working order :-D

Yup, I actually have two Amiga 1000's that still work perfectly. I picked up the second one for cheap so i could use it for spare parts, but both of them have kept working without a hitch

I also have one Amiga 2000 that I'm currently attempting to repair. The clock battery ruptured and leaked all over the motherboard, causing corrosion and other nastiness. Hopefully I can get it to boot again...

Man that was a great computer...they still run circles around everything else in certain ways. Back then, let's see, we had DOS based,Apple, Amiga/Commodore machines. In business I worked with DEC, but I hated to see the Amiga architectures shrivel. Great graphics!

My first computer was a cream coloured Compaq, store bought, with Windows Millennium Edition.

It was an old Dell running Windows ME. Windows ME sucked so we upgraded to Windows 2000.
