This might help > http://www.w3.org/2005/10/howto-favicon It's called a favicon. You will need to create a 16x16 px image and upload to your root directory on your server. Save the image as a png and use http://www.convertico.com/ to convert to a .ico file |

make an icon in fw cs4 then go to http://www.convertico.com/ then download the ico. name it favicon.ico then upload it to your website. Then your done! =D |

i like to use icofx to create my favicons because you can use it very much like photoshop, once youve made your favicon then upload it to your root directory, if your using a web package then you may have default favicon already in place, many servers need you to delete this first because if upload a file with the same name it will not overwrite it. |

You mean favicon? Place a .ico file in the root directory of your website. Simple enough answer, simple enough task. |

As mentioned multiple times, the small icon is referred to as a favicon. It's very simple to do and create. Basically, just take your logo and save it as a .ico and upload to your root directory of your website. |
