Your title seems to not ask a question, as it says it is a statement. Try using a title like, "Is Astrology Real?"

Good Question!

I'm Christian, was raised Roman Catholic, and I know of more than a few Bible references to the Heavens, (Sun, Moon, and Stars). I had to do more research, and found many hits.

"There shall be signs in the sun, the moon, and the stars." - Jesus Christ, Luke 21:25

The Star of Bethlem marks the birth of Jesus Christ. I've come to realize that the Bible is full of references to Astrological Signs, and it makes me wonder. I don't believe in mumbo jumbo, like the Horoscope. I can see where people believe the mumbo jumbo, but I'm still skeptical about how real Astrology is.

Don't confuse Astrology with Astronomy. Astronomy is one of the oldest sciences.

Bottomline: I don't believe in Astrology in the mumbo jumbo way, but I do note the use of Astronomy to mark historical events & the passage of time.

That's a great answer. I am not saying that astrological bodies are not useful for anything, but I also don't believe they control our lives. They have significance, but not in the way that astrologists believe.
