Is it optional that you can create a splitter cable tv outlet wall from an at&t service?

My room is my home office so i want to put my tv facing my bedroom and facing my L shaped desk, but the problem is that the splitter outlet tv cable wall is right next to my desk, and if i move my tv and my dvr facing my bed and desk the cord will interfere as i walk in my room.
