Do you believe IQ's have any validity in showing some ones intelligence level?

mmmm the IQ test i took measured more my ability to think rather more than knowledge I had 130 something between my age, and i still don't know what it means :/. I think a simple test cannot show ones knowledge or intelligence level, for me all of us have the same intelligence level it depends on the person to use it, and have the interest to learn. So I dont believe too much in those tests ^^

I don't believe an IQ score measures the intelligence of someone. Intelligence can be judged by a number of things, and this is just ONE of them.

an IQ test measures how you can think through puzzles, notice patterns, think logically, ext... although there are many forms of how you can measure how knowledgeable someone is. for example i could have memorized an entire encyclopedia, but i can have a low IQ. basically an IQ measures your ability to think, not what you know.
