If you could connect a computer directly to your brain would you and why? what fears would you have? what ethical questions do you see? |
I would like to connect a computer to my brain because I would want to make a backup of my memories! |
Oh yes! If I had the option to interact with a computer via my brain I would go for it without a doubt. Imagine all the possibilities with the unlimited storage space and ultra processing power of the brain! Plus, you have less of a chance of memory loss. |
Yes, then I could just think of what I want my PC to do. As long as there was absolutely no way of reprisals such as brainwashing via secret organizations etc. And no way of hacking my brain. |
No, that must really damage my cell brains, unless I was blind and connecting it will help me to see, otherwise I don't see any other way I would :P, I mean it's spending hours in front of it and has side effects imagine if we connect it directly!!!!!! |
No, I wouldn't. I would be afraid that something would go wrong and damage my brain. And the thought of humans being connected to computers scares the crap out of me. |
I'd wait until there was an approved way to do it, then maybe! |
I don't want to have to put up with memory dumps if I were using Windows for my brain. If I were using Macs for my brain, I wouldn't want to put up with Flash freezing fairly frequently. If I were using Linux to power my brain, I wouldn't want to see my life through a Terminal Window. Just face it, our brains are more powerful and reliable than computers ever will be. |
I have thought about this before. Be able to surf the web whenever I want, always be signed into my messengers, play video games in my brain when I'm bored, and just do everything. |
