if you needed to lie in court to save an innocents life-would you do it? for example telling a Muslim court someone was a christian and costing them their life. |

No. I love God more than anything. Telling the truth under oath is more than my life. Once you lie under oath, not only do you go to hell, but you also may be convicted of perjury. When you're there, you really have to think, God is watching everything you do, and you swore with your right hand over the Bible. I just don't know how people can lie under oath... |

if they where innocent, why would i have to lie? if some one where to frame someone else and i knew it, why dont i state that? if i am found lieing it could lead to a mistrial and the innocent man will have to spend more time in jail waiting a new trial... |

Depends on whether the specific life at risk is worth it, looking at the "Greater Good" picture. Not just some random shmuck, no. To save my own, yes :) Of course I wouldn't really lie; I'd simply convince myself this new point is the real truth. So it becomes a non-lie. |

why would this ever happen? you would never need to lie to save someones life, give me an example of when you may need to lie to save someones life. i cant think of any? |
