Are you the type of person that just "remembers" how much is in your account and what bills are due or are you the person that writes it down on the fridge or maybe create an excel spreadsheet???

I just know how much I have and spend money on things I NEED.

I remember how much I have in both checking and savings to the nearest thousand. Beyond that, I only worry about it for major purchases. Every week or two I check the bank website for transactions I don't recognize.

I swipe my card 5-10 times a day. I'm not about to record every little one in a spreadsheet when it's all right there on the bank website. Gone are the days of checkbooks, as transactions are almost all instant now.
