True but it seems like they are hand feeding us little by little to make more money off of us instead of releasing it so it can serve it's purpose which is to improve the quality of our lives.

Depends on what you're talking about. I know in the world of graphics cards, they're pushing the limits of what's technically possible at current process sizes. They honestly can't make them much faster right now, not without a die-shrink or a major overhaul to the architecture.

Technology is always getting improved and people don't want to buy something second hand they want new things. Most of the value drops straight away when you open your product.
