I'm looking into buying a graphics card with will support HD with a 1080p HD screen (VGA and DVI). It needs to be a slim tower (also known as "low profile" right?) The screen I'm getting doesn't have an HDMI input but has both VGA and DVI inputs. So I want to buy a graphics card with will project a better quality to my HD screen using VGA and/or DVI. My price range is around $50-$80. And I need one for SLIM tower. I have a Dell Inspiron 530s. Will this one work? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150471&cm_re=HD_Graphics_Card-_-14-150-471-_-Product

I trust newegg & their huge database of reviews. Amazon is also a good place to find reviews before making a purchase.

RE: low-profile. There ought to be specs on the Dell site stating the size add-in cards that fit? You may want to give them a call. Keep in mind that while you may have a slot open- you are also going to be creating more heat. If it's possible, add a fan...those SFF cases get warm!

I never thought about the card adding heat but thanks for the thought. I'll keep an eye on that as well. :)

It should work fine but keep in mind that the 5450 is a low end card that will not handle much gaming. You will get full hardware acceleration with that card for 1080P content so you should be fine.
