I just did a count of all the software I have on my Pc, which came to about 44, not including sub-components of that software(also not including security suites/programs and not including Windows/Mac/Linux' own programs). How many do you have on your computers? And, do you use them all regularly?

I run twelve plus screensavers and games. I run a website and use photo editing tools for 35mm photos and collages, file compression tools and an occasional tweaking tool.

I would have to go with a few hundred. According to Wakoopa I've used 866 total applications. I probably use about twenty, or so, on a regular basis.

I have around 60 Applications that didn't come pre installed on my Mac. Theres probably about 10 or so that I actually use regularly.

I have 124 installations. Subtract all the preinstalled stuff, drivers, and sub-components of software, I'm looking at 80 programs, only about 20 I use regularly, but I use most weekly.

On the Ubuntu side, I have about 70 programs, only about 20 I use regularly, but I use most weekly.

in total count of all programs, I have 4937. Of Applications, that is application bundles like iTunes.app, I have 854 applications. Just the programs in the bin directories make up 1408.

That's 854 applications that I installed.

Edit:

I forgot, I only use about 12-14 of them regularly.
