I still have two years left until college, but I have begun looking into different colleges. I am not sure which path in computers I want to go down yet, one that I am looking into is networking. If you have any suggestions for colleges (mainly on the east coast, but will look at other ones) or computer related majors that will help me I would appreciate it. One college I am looking into is RIT, any thoughts on that?

when looking for any college look in your local area, know what u can afford, tour the campus and do research about the program at that school (not on the schools site) find out what you can about students who graduated from there.

when choosing your path: are you good at math and science? if so perhaps computer engineering or computer science is for you.

if you are really looking into computer networking or IT administration there are a ton of options available within that and some schools are better than others.

i started out at a local community college to get my general eds done, i would say you should do the same, it is cheaper although it does come with some issues with transferring you have to watch.
