Can you please tell me some programs that do this because the program TouchFreeze does not work? |

There is a very limited amount of applications, especially when you remove TouchFreeze. I found one called TouchpadPal http://download.cnet.com/TouchpadPal/3000-2084_4-75012436.html?tag=mncol |

The question should be, "Why are you typing so lazy?" If you need some kind of application to "freeze" your touchpad, than you must be typing wrong. You need to type with your wrists above the armrests (at a comfortable height like one to two inches). |

I don't see how you can possibly be hitting the touchpad while you're typing... Improve your posture, correctly align your wrists, and learn to touch-type. I do all but the latter, and I don't have a problem with it. If your laptop has the touchpad way over on the left like some do (and I still have yet to figure out why?), then buy a keyboard for it. If your laptop is by HP, it usually has a little button at the top of the trackpad that disables it when you push it. See if yours has that. |
