What will Google come out with next?

What "big thing" do you think Google will come out with next? Their own cars? They now have their own OS, phone, internet service (in development), and a lot of other things. So what do you think?

Pretty sure that they already have a car that's being tested in California.. Meaning, they drive it around.

Who knows what Google's going to do next. But chances are good that it'll be something worth using. Google is pretty good about not making things that are garbage. The only thing I see on the horizon for the is Google Me, but I don't know what's happening with that. All I know about it is that it's Google's plan to kill Facebook.

But everyone knows that Google won't be successful in the attempt of killing Facebook, Unless Google steps in at the right time with something that is worth visiting. We all know that Google has had a bad reputation for releasing things too early (example: Google Wave).

True, but Google probably has the best shot of anyone of killing Facebook other than Facebook itself.

That isn't strictly true. Initial market penetration from Google definitely, Google only have the power (other than Facebook) to destroy Facebook. However, there are other firms (or even individuals) given the right timing and feature set could bring down Facebook; but over a much longer timescale.

I have read in tech magazines and online that the folks at Google are working on Google TV.

I heard that this technology will be ported to Android smartphones, first. You could call Gina in Italy who's speaking Italian ... you hear English, and visa versa.

Google's next step is of no consequence. What matters is their ultimate goal.

They've taken over the e-mail, made an OS, take over Satellites for their maps, made a phone, made a universal translater (text only), moved tables into virtual reality (Wave), even taken over television with a device that lets your TV search for YouTube videos, and many more. After they've made life easier for everything, and placed the Google brand on all known technology, that is when they will give us their true plan...

Google is really starting the competition with apple....first the Google chrome browser on Apple's Safari Next was the Android OS which was for the iPhone OS/iOS Next was the Chrome OS which was for the Mac OS X Next was the Google Docs which was for iWork Next was the Android Tablet(OS) which was for the iPad What maybe do you think next google would make maybe

Hopefully Google Mobile (as in cellphone provider) maybe free? (I can always dream right?) Hmmm, well since it's coming from Google, it should be a good product, because Google REALLY tries to make things that people will love. Maybe next they'll come out with an iPod like device, and their own version of iTunes as well. That would definetely help in their everlong effort to topple Apple from its high pedestal.

Whatever they do next, though, will probably be aimed at bringing a big competetor down, since they know that they have the resources and "fan base" to do so.
