Social Media vs. Inter-personal Relationships

They will never be a substitute for real human interaction. I make it a point daily to get outside and talk to real people.

We will never get to the point in technology where we will stop communicating with other human beings. I believe that I don't have anything else to say on that matter.

No, for me its added to it. I have met so many more interesting people then I would have with out Social Media. I think if you enjoy networking and meeting new people you will expand that with social media. If you like to keep your network small with only friends and family, you will do that with social media too. But at least you may include that old friend from high school that you lose track of, or that long lost cousin that moved away. So if its changed any, its only for the best. kp

Yes. And is not doing us any good. Going outside, make friends outside, see the world, we really need those things for our psyological health and also spiritual. I rather make friends in my university and nearby stores rather than doing them online(Myspace, Facebook). Social Media/ Internet they are good and has their own pros but the bad things: Identity thiefs have risen, a lot of girls have fallen for pedos, between other stuff. Don't get me wrong I enjoy talking to you guys, I think this community is the best ever and is full with great people :p and I also have made some good friends in Halo CE and FEAR.
