okay guys, you choose which laptop I will be getting. the alienware has an 11 inch screen with a res. of 1366x768,it has 4gb of ram, and intel core i7-640UM(2 GHZ with 2.266 GHz Max Turbo), 1GB NVIDIA® GeForce® GT 335M,6.5 hours of battery life, a 320gb HDD(7200RPM),no dvd player, and last but not least, a very cool UFO looking design. It costs $1,293.00 The HP pavilion has a 17 inch screen with a res of 1600x900, 4gb of ram, and intel core i5-450M (2.40GHz with Turbo Boost Technology up to 2.66GHz), an ATI Mobility Radeon™ HD 5650 switchable graphics with 1024MB DDR3 with up to 2714MB total graphics memory,5 hours of battery life, bluray, fingerprint reader,a 640gb HDD(7200RPM),and a cool brushed aluminum finish. It costs $949.99 Please let me know which one I should get it. Thank you very much for your help, I really appreciate it. |

Asus or Sony. They make great, quality computers. Alienware is too overpriced and just too bulky. HP... Who knows what they're doing anymore... So yeah just my 2 cents. |
|
I guess from the choices above, I'd go for the HP.

okay so far this is a tie, lol can someone else please tell me which one should I get? |
|
oh wait so I found out that the ATI mobility radeon HD 5650 is a little bit better than the m11x's geforce gt335m, so the only good things about the alienware is the core i7 and the cool design, but it doesnt have a dvd slot, less HDD space, smaller screen, lower res. and its $300 more than the HP pavilion, I guess I'm getting that one then, I wish there was a core i7 version of the pavilion.. if you can find one please post a link to it here, thank you. |

and the xplorer is a pretty decent machine and the 1080p 18 inch screen must be nice, but the graphics card is not strong enough for what I want. |
|
wait lol im stupid thats actually a really good laptop haha! well I might get it but not sure yet. |

Try an Asus, they have a low fail rate, and their gaming laptops are awesome. I don't know how much money you want to spend, but this should play pretty much anything you throw at it: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834230099 |
