India unveils prototype of $10 tablet computer
(25) $10 tablets = $250 for a Video Wall measuring about 50" x 40" How many iPad(s) can $250 buy? |
Of course! It's only $35 after all! Would be a nice little gadget to have. |
Can you install BackTrack 4 on it? If so then I would want one. |
For $35 why not, even if all i can go is customize it and browse the web for 35 dollars that would be great. 1
The zip it is a small (about the size of a Nintendo DS)linux based laptop used for instant messaging. (Can be hacked changing the OS for something more versatile) http://www.notanon.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/05/zipit_linux.jpg |

It depends whether or not it actually works. Also, if it costs way under $35 to make, I'd want to know whether or not it's usable, because I am not going to carry around an unusable device that takes up the space of an iPad in my bag. |
Yea, its a lot cheaper and it runs linux so I have a lot of customization options :) I'm sold. |
Yeah, I would. I think it'd be a wonderful device too. Archos has a product line that has a tablet device running Linux. However, if there was to be a cheap, affordable iPad like device that has good touch capabilities, and could run a full desktop Linux distro, I would be sold in an instant. |
Yes, I'd buy it, after it had been on the market for a month or so. Anything that cheap has to have taken short cuts or is getting outside money. Bottom Line: If it works, I'll buy it at that price. |
Yes i would. It is 35 dollars why not. I don't care if it breaks quickly for that price. i can buy 10 of them and it is still cheaper then an iPad. |

$10 tablets?! Filling up my gas tank costs more!!!
I wonder how much these will cost on the retail market.
