Those are REAL speakers. Computer speakers don't count as speakers.

i meant for a computer setup, i agree that that type of speaker are pretty good, but i ten dto prefer my surrounding enviroment with a subwoofer or headphones that engulf you in the game

Alright, well cheap 5.1 "speakers" for what your wanting then, look into the Logitech Z-680 or Z-5500 Digital. I own the first one, Chris Pirillo owns the 5500 Digital last time I checked.

They are pretty decent, for gaming.

I have a logitech z-640 (had it for like 7+ yeas) and it has worked extremely well. The sound quality is good. But much of the time, I use a quality pair of headphones as even compared to a $1000 speaker system, a $100 pair of headphones will offer better quality and detail (you just wont get full surround sound)

i use 2.1 Logitech somethings and a really expensive 7 year old Harmon/Kardon 2.1 channel speaker system for my ipod. (They are the best speakers i have ever owned.)

This depends a lot on your budget. I have a Bose Companion 5 system and it sounds amazing. Keep in mind that you get what you pay for most of the time with speakers. Cheap speakers sound cheap. If you are looking for surround sound I would try the Logitech Z-640 or a similar setup. I've also owned these but all of the speakers and the large sub take up a little more room.

I use a Marantz 2252 stereo receiver and a pair of CerwinVega AT-12 speaker for my computer speakers. I only spent about $54 on the setup. In my opinion, a vintage audio receiver or integrated amplifier and a pair of decent speakers would be the way to go.

I got these Altec Lansing FX6021 years ago and I still love them today. They have amazing sound and I can rock out with the best of them. Great computer speakers.
