I just bought myself a 24" 1080p HD monitor. It has VGA, DVI-D, and HDMI ports. My current graphics card is one that came with my computer. I'm not quite sure what the exact specs are on my graphics card (because I am currently on vacation), but with my new monitor I want to not use a VGA nor DVI. I want to use an HDMI for my 24" and possibly use my current grpahics card for another screen so I can dual my screens. What my question is, is what would be a graphics card I can buy that has HDMI and I can still use my current graphics card? By the way, I am not a huge gamer so I don't need one that will cost hundreds. What I do on a regular basis, is make videos, browse internet, and nothing more than that basic stuff. Again, I am not a hardcore gamer. I have a Dell Inspiron 530s, so my tower is about 4". I believe that the cards I have to use is called "low profile". So I need a graphics card that will support low profile and has HDMI. My budget is about $50-$70 or so. I was looking at this one, will it work? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150486&cm_re=low_profile_graphics_card-_-14-150-486-_-Product I see that the graphics card says 64 bit and my specs are 32 bit. I know it's a lot of information and I could keep going on and on but I want to make a great decision. |
