We only subscribe to basic cable and almost never watch it, actually. I do love Discovery Channel and Syfy and others but I generally only see the shows online or when visiting family, since both sets of parents, hubby's and mine, live nearby and both have HDTVs with full cable lineups including HD channels.

When we upgrade our entertainment system downstairs, we'll watch more television but for now it's serving our needs to get out of the house and be social if we want to catch a MythBusters marathon or whatnot. Hubby and I are enjoying "True Blood" so I should include HBO in my lineup.

Only two, really. BBC America, primarily for Doctor Who and SyFy, for Caprica (formerly BSG and Doctor Who when they ran it). Might watch some of the offerings on Syfy until the return of Caprica, but it won't be a whole lot. The wife watches the History channels quite a bit. Other than that, it's mostly for weather or news.

I watch SyFy ( Eureka, Warehouse 13 ), ABC (America's Funniest Home Videos), NBC (Saturday Night Live), Discovery (Dirty Jobs), Science Channel ( How's It's Made, Build It Bigger, Into the Universe, and various others.)

Those are the channels I watch regularly.

I watch CBS (Big Bang Theory, How I Met Your Mother, Accidentally on Purpose, Two And A Half Men, Rules Of Engagement, Survivor), NBC (Jay Leno, Conan O'Brien (until they canceled his contract)), all the Discoveries (Mythbusters, Modern Marvels, How's It's Made, Build It Bigger, Big,Bigger,Biggest, Dual Survival, and similar), and news wherever it's on when I feel like watching it.

But I only watch the shows on CBS regularly the others just every now and then.
